In autumn in Amsterdam is difficult to find flowers on the streets. The stations here have very different characteristics, different from Brazil. But the Flower Market there are flowers all year long! Tulips are the big attraction, but there are many others. There's even the option to buy flowers on the internet from anywhere in the world.
In the Dutch culture, when visiting someone's home is elegant bring flowers. This is a great place to buy them!
Moreover, it is the only floating market in the world (but really, can not even realize that it is floating ...).
It is on the Singel canal between Vijzelstraat and Koningsplein.

Unfortunately, I am going to Amsterdam in the autumn and make a quick tour of one day only. I saw the photos of the village of Zaanse Schans My question is in one day I can go to this site and walk around in Amsterdam.
    I look back,

    Kamila,

If you go to Zaanse Schans in the morning and return at lunch time to give Amsterdam, but it's gone.

The village is small you can learn fast.
