The castle Rosemborg (Rosemborg Slot) is practically in the center of Copenhagen. But when it was built in the seventeenth century to be the summer home of the royal family was inside, away from the city.

You can visit some rooms of the castle, gardens and more interesting: the Danish royal treasury, including the crown jewels. The treasure is in the basement of the castle, which is a large safe, with reinforced doors where visitors enter and leave.

To photograph them you pay 20 crowns more.
If the day is beautiful, enjoy a stroll in the gardens of the Castle.
