Last week I went know Xtracold the IceBar Amsterdam. I confess that I liked much more elegant lounge where you wait your turn to enter the IceBar.

The lounge has a legal compliance, super cold beer, good music and a modern decor different from traditional bars in town.

After being impressed with the lounge, it's time to meet IceBar. You pay 15 euros for entry, a drink, a coat and gloves to handle the -5 °, -7 ° which is the temperature inside.

The bar reminded me of a refrigerator or a geladerona because it is small and all white. It really has nothing more in there unless the temperature difference. A plasma TV spends a few clips and a clerk makes the drinks (juice + vodka) are served in ice glasses. It is forbidden to take pictures inside because it makes some attendant images that are sold on output.

In my opinion if you're here, close to Rembrandtplein, be sure to take an extra cold beer in the lounge and see images from inside the IceBar. But do not pay the 15 euros to enter because it is worth.

The first images with decorative red and white are the lounge and the other from within the half hidden IceBar I did.

Died of envy that cold bar. I'm suffocating in the heat of Recife and that's all I wanted now.

looking for travel tips I found your blog yesterday and read everything. It was just an addiction! I really loved. I really wanted to travel.
Our good life that you had last year going to so many beautiful places. And thankfully he photographed them to show it to us.
With the wonderful pictures then will travel only increased.
When I started reading I knew that was going on my next trip to Amsterdam and then I got fascinated by so many other places. A strong desire to go to Scotland and cities to meet hitherto unknown to me as Toledo and San Sebastian. But now I know that I want to plan for Greece! A dream since childhood.
Congratulations on your blog! Read like a book and was so sad when he arrived on the last page ... the good thing is not over and we still have so many other posts.
Congratulations on your photos too. I went in to flickr to see more.
Oh I have that magazine travel from Dublin but did not know that the matter was his. When we got home I read.
    Bjo,

Marcio, my husband and I walked touring Europe for several months and Amsterdam seemed a bit "cold", not only on temperature. It was easy to fit in there? How long have you lived in the city? His blog is a good find. congratulations.

Hi Adelaide, it was not difficult to adapt not here. I've been here one year and three months.

I think the Netherlands, taking the countries of Latin origin is less cold.

People have a nice mood (especially during spring and summer) and to the extent possible to treat well the gringos.
